I have loved being around animals all of my life. I grew up with dogs and birds in my home and also have 2 horses. I have been my local neighborhood pet sitter since I was 10 years old, both cat/dog sitting, and dog walking. I also have experience in obedience and agility training with my personal family dogs growing up. I would very much consider myself an animal lover! Being a college student away from home, I miss spending time with animals and will take any opportunity I get to hang out with some cute pets! Please feel free to contact me :)

We came home to a happy puppy today after a nice day of skiing. Lucy was amazing with our little Bernedoodle puppy. She is very knowledgeable and experienced with puppies and we could tell right away that our Della was in the best hands. It was our first time using a dog sitter and after meeting with Lucy we had no worries to leave our pup and enjoy the day. Thank you so much Lucy!

We recently asked Lucy to house sit for us with our senior cat Sonny for the weekend. They got along great, we were always kept up to date on how things were going with messages and photos. Lucy has been great to communicate with, she kind, polite, and left us a really happy cat when got home. I would definitely recommend Lucy to all cat parents here in the Burlington area!

A typical day
I would love taking your dog out for a walk around the neighborhood, but would love to curl up on the couch with either some homework or a book! And typically lots of snuggles, and maybe some cookies (if you say it’s ok!)

Availability
I am a senior at UVM and this spring semester I have, daily classes Mondays and Wednesdays and evening classes Tuesdays. I am lucky to have a pretty light final semester at school. Other daily obligations include going to take care of/ride my horses (15 mins away from campus) which timing can typically be flexible! I will be honest and say that for booking an overnight stay I am not able to stay with your pet 24/7 — but can guarantee 4+ drop ins per day/to be taken out.
