I am huge animal lover, and looking forward to the day I'll be able to have a dog of my own. In the meantime, I've been to lucky to be entrusted to look after various pets for friends and family. Most recently, we had Bilbo the Jack Russell Cross stay with us for a month. We've also looked after 8 month old Cockapoo Jack, and regularly cat sit for our friends. We volunteer with the Cinnamon Trust, a charity which matches volunteers with elderly and terminally ill people who need some help looking after their pets. Through this amazing charity we were until recently regular walkers for the gorgeous Jack Russell Robbie, until unfortunately his lovely owner passed away and Robbie moved to live elsewhere. As a teenager, I had a Saturday job working a boarding kennels, volunteered at a greyhound rescue centre and also walked the neighborhood dogs for extra pennies, so I have experience walking dogs of all sizes! As we're not in a position to commit to a dog full time, we've shared our house with various rodents, most recently the Russian Dwarf hamster Sergei. Sergei lives in a secure cage/mansion in his own room so won't come in contact with any doggy visitors.
