I'm a 34 y/o working part-time as a dog sitter, part-time as a clinician. I trained as a walker and sitter with Rufflife in 2010 in Brooklyn and worked in 2014 as a walker at Wags and Bags in Chelsea, NYC. I’ve using the app for 10+ years! I am skilled with all dogs, from puppies to dogs with behavioral challenges or medical needs. WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT is that your dog(s) has a comfortable, happy environment that suits their needs. I will do whatever I can to facilitate that ❤️ Why I love dog sitting: I've been a dog lover since I was born! I grew up with two black and white springer spaniels and our family went on to have more spaniels throughout my life. I love to be outdoors and I find exploring neighborhoods and nature with dogs to be very rewarding. I also enjoy interacting with all the different dog/cat personalities and breeds. My experience administering medication: I used to work for a company working with dogs with diabetes. I've watched multiple dogs and cats with oral medication requirements. Any medication is fine with me as long as you are clear on the instructions of use. My pets/services: I have a small dog named Goose, a Kooikerhondje who is 24 pounds, who loves having friends to hang with. Zipper, is a 20 lb Boston Terrier who is a joy, also lives here!

As always, Lucy is a wonderful sitter. She was super flexible with her time and my little echo LOVES hanging out with her.
Lucy looked after our dog Timur while we were out of town for a long weekend. She took fantastic care of him, he normally takes a minute to warm up to people but seemed right at home! We received multiple pictures of him daily which we loved. We will definitely leave Timur with Lucy again next time!
Lucy made me feel super comfortable being away. She was so responsive and gave me constant updates and photos. My normally very anxious pup was so at ease with her. Highly recommend.

There's just a few basics: how many walks per day, feeding schedule, food aggression/aggression with other dogs/other quirks. Anything you'd want me to know! I'm happy to work with any breeds. I am happy to work with folks in Oakland but do charge an additional fee for bridge tolls. I typically do not charge for medication at this time, unless your dog requires complex medical care.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I am very close to McLaren Park as well as parks in Bernal Heights and Glen Park. We also have a fenced dog run nearby. Whatever is preferable for your pup. Time I'll spend with your dog: Depending on what you want and what the dogs needs! Typically, I'll do a 30 minute morning walk, longer afternoon walk to the park, and 30 minute evening walk. I plan on spending as much time with your dog as possible. I'm work part-time, so I will be home with the dog most of the day. Extra house-sitting services: Happy to help with any of the above. Just let me know in advance so I can accommodate any requests.

Availability
I work 5-6 hours 4 days per week mostly from home. I can do my best to accommodate the exact timing of walking needs and current routine your dog has with you on daily basis. I’m somewhat flexible in my hours so that your pup can have as constant and consistent care as possible.
