Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life caring for and loving dogs, cats and other animals of all sizes, and throughout the past five years I have frequently cared for beloved pets as their families head out-of-town. I currently have a huge St. Bernard who is truly a part of the family. Throughout my experience with dog-sitting I have spent time with puppies, elderly, and special-needs dogs, and a wide variety of pets. I learn patience and compassion with each pet-care experience, and feel that I have mastered the balance between punctuality, responsibility, enthusiasm, and genuineness that will make our time together enjoyable for all parties!

Lucy is Great! She spent lots of time with our Newfies and gave them water out of the hose just how they like it! She sent pictures and updates and was a clean and gracious house guest. We'd book her again in a heartbeat!
Lucy took such great care of my energetic pup! She was great to work with and kept in communication with me throughout the weekend, which put me at ease. I've known Lucy her entire life and you will not find a more responsible and conscientious person to care for your pet. She is personable, intelligent and hard working. I can't say enough about what a wonderful job Lucy did at taking care of our furry family members. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and one Guinea pig, so she had her hands full, but she treated them and took care of them with kindness and love. It's always hard to leave your pets behind, but with the care that Lucy gave our pets it makes it a lot easier. I won't hesitate to have Lucy pet sit again, and our furry family members love her too! My heart belongs to dogs of all shapes and sizes. However, I have grown up with larger breed dogs so in some aspects I am more comfortable with them. I would like to know any history of aggression prior to taking care of a dog, and feel that it is important that both myself and the dog feel comfortable with one another.
A typical day
My favorite part of the day is playing with and exercising with our pets! I value time spent outdoors, and prioritize that throughout my pet-care shift. I am comfortable following routine walking patterns provided by the owners, or researching safe and fun walking routs for us around the area. I also am comfortable with dog parks, or staying in the yard and playing fetch or chasing our tails!
