Pet care experience
I have worked with animals since age 15. At age 15 I worked full time at a the West Virginia ACWP and ran an on-campus program at my boarding school. After that I worked at a pet store and learned a great deal about animal nutrition and care. I have also worked at a kennel for roughly a year and learned a ton about training, socializing, grooming, feeding, and other care. I have also worked at a vet and learned a great deal about medical care and caring for elderly dogs. I also have 1.5 years experience working at a vet office. I would be glad to supply referrals from pet owners I work with in the area if requested besides from the one on my profile!

Lucy did an incredible job taking care of my Roux girl. She sent me updates throughout the stay and made sure to give her all the love and attention I could ask for, she truly treated Roux like her own! Lucy has a nice size backyard for Roux to run around & play. I’d highly recommend Lucy as a Rover for any pet owner!

Lucy has been my primary dog sitter for about 3 years. Lucy is 100 percent dependable and also great about keeping me updated on my dog's status while I'm away (including pix an videos!), but the reason she is my dog sitter is because she so obvioulsy loves dogs and truly strives to make them happy and comfortable while their owners are away. My dog has anxiety and trust issues with most people, but thanks to her patience and her expertise in interacting with dogs he has bonded very well with her. It is very reassuring to know she is taking care of him when I can't.
