Pet care experience
I have had big dogs my whole life. I currently have 3 standard poodles (55, 65, and 80 lbs) who I play outside with regularly. My oldest poodle also have medical needs, so I know how to give him pills and keep up with his health. I run and hike and love to take dogs with me on those. I also enjoy going to the river and I usually take one of my dogs with me. I am 5'10" so I am good with large and/or strong dogs. I have 2 senior dogs and one 3 year old dog, as well as taking care of my sister's puppy when she needs me too. I am very active and love a dog that will go outside with me, but I also enjoy hanging out and being around dogs. I am a full-time student at VCU in the Psychology department, so I commute from my house to there every day so distance is not a problem.

Lucy has helped us out with walks and visits several times now when we have to leave our dog Tiffany alone for long days. Tiffany is very happy for the mid-day attention and seems much calmed by this arrangement. We highly recommend Lucy and hope she'll come back again next time we are away! Thanks!
Lucy was great! She was reliable, clean, and our dogs loved her! They were well taken care of in her hands! I have large dogs and they pull on the leash a bit, but she handled them perfectly. She kept them active, entertained, and healthy!

I have no breed preference (pit bulls are definitely welcome!), I just need to know the amount of time that the dog(s) can be left, I have classes at VCU but do have long breaks in between.
A typical day
I can take the dogs on runs, hikes, and even water activities if they enjoy that! I like playing outside with dogs, i.e. fetch or tug of war.
