Hey, My Names Lucus. I'm the owner of The Collar Club Pet Care. I've always had a passion for animals and was lucky enough to be bought up around many different types. In our family home for the majority of my years growing up we had over 3 dogs including 2 Dogue-de-bordeaux's, A St. Bernard, A German Shepherd Rottweiler Mix and a Pomeranian. We also had 16 Cats, 2 horses, 1 rabbit, 5 guinea pigs and 2 rats, yes it was basically a small holding zoo! From a young age I have had hands on experience working with a wide array of animals. As I was leaving school I wanted to follow my dream and begin to work with animals so I started work experience at a large well known pet suppliers. I soon realized that wasn't what I wanted to do, I needed a much more hands on job working directly with the animals as apposed to stacking shelves and scanning their food at the checkout. I decided to go to a agricultural college where I studied equestrian care and management for two years. After leaving college I decided to take a break from animals and start working with people in the care industry, what a silly mistake that was. Here I am five years later running my own pet care business! I understand what animals mean to us, the importance and difference they make to our lives and not to mention the responsibility. So I feel its only right to care for your pet as I would my own.
