Do NOT book Lucinda. She came over, met us, and confirmed her availability to stay at our house with our post-surgery dog. She said she had a lot of writing to do and would be happy to stay at the house and watch the dog while she works. She confirmed over Rover and responded to an e-mail with detailed instructions. We were out of the country for 2 weeks and had a friend staying over the first week. Lucinda was supposed to stay the 2nd week. I sent her an e-mail 4 days before she was supposed to arrive to make sure she had connected with the other sitter to coordinate. No response. Sent another e-mail and texted 3 days before. No response. Sent a Rover message the day before. No response. I had to spend hours from across the world finding and piecing together last-minute, back up sitters. I hope she's ok and nothing bad happened, but I wouldn't know. I NEVER heard from her again.

Lucinda did a great job — pets were all happy and well looked after when I got home. She also kept in touch while I was gone, as well, just to double check the timing of things. I recommend her without hesitation.
