I LOVE DOGS and animals all kinds :D I used to dogsit for my sister who has two: one german-sheppard-boxer, and one boxer-pit, and for other friends and family before I got my own babies. I know it’s important that those good-boys get the care they need when my sister is away, and I love spending time with them. I've been a sitter on Rover for 7 years, and been caring for pets for 10 years! I have three doggies of my own; a bull terrier, a shiba, and a rottweiler. I hate being away from them but if I know they're cared for by someone who genuinely loves them it makes me feel so much better. My three have taught me so much patience and sympathy for ALL doggie characteristics: Food aggressive? no problem. Reactive on leash? My specialty. Bite history? Doesn't scare me! Dogs and animals feed off our energy so I approach every one with understanding, respect, and trust! I live in beautiful Kailua, so you can expect lots of exercise and routine eating/potty breaks for your pet under my care. My husband and I recently moved into a new home with a big back yard fully fenced in, and are planning to install a doggie door shortly (only will have it accessible if approved by the doggies owner)! When I am dog-sitting/walking the animals will be priority number one! I’ve taken care of mine, my sister’s, and friend’s dogs since they were puppies, and have experience with more mature dogs as well. I understand that each dog has individual needs/preferences and will respect any advice/special-requests from the owner for their dog. I won't bring my pups along unless you explicitly request I do! I'd be happy to socialize yours and mine if there is safe place to do so! If I am sitting your doggie on a day I work have to work in the office, I make sure you are aware of my hours, and that the pooch will be ok for the designated time :D
