I've been an animal lover all of my life! I grew up with dogs and cats, from puppies to elderly dogs. I have watched various animals, from hyperactive labs to senior cats needing special attention. I have no problem walking dogs that tend to pull or get overly excited when seeing other animals while on the leash, seeing how my pup is notorious for trying to go after squirrels. I work full-time Friday through Tuesday but am a quick 10-minute drive from home. Typically we go on a long walk early in the morning before my shift and then have two hours of playtime at lunch, followed by another walk when I get home. If I work the night shift, I try to take the pups to the dog park in the morning, so they have plenty of opportunities to play and socialize. I have a fenced-in yard and a friendly pup to keep your baby entertained. Gertie is crate trained, but I have no problem letting your dog hang out if they do not enjoy the crate. My cat is pretty dog friendly, but if your dog isn't a cat lover, Mongo typically hangs out in the basement (aka the cat cave) during the day.
