Hi! My name is Lucie and I recently moved to Pasadena from Annapolis. I grew up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and horses, and lived with my roommates' pets in college. I worked at Arnold Pet Station's kennel in high school and helped with my friend's pets both in Annapolis and away at school. I would love to take your dog for a long walk (or run, if you have a high energy pup who needs to work off some energy!), or just lounge around for the afternoon. Whatever your pup needs, I am happy to do! I know how important dogs are to you and your family, and would be sure to treat them as my own while you are at work or away on a trip.

Lucie was great! She agreed at the last minute to walk my dog without having met him, then was patient with him as he was nervous around her at first.
Lucie is exceptionally responsible and caring! She has plenty of experience with dogs in many different contexts and with very different personalities and really meets the dogs where they're at. My pup is a little on the shy side and doesn't like meeting new people or pets on walks, and I would trust Lucie with him any day!
Lucie is an awesome dog caregiver! She will take care of your dog and make sure that your dog is being taken care of in the best way possible. Because of her outgoing and caring personality, she's great with animals. She is also responsible, polite and punctual so you won't have to worry about Lucie being late to walking your dog!
Lucie is amazing with all animals, not just dogs! She is such an animal person. I have three dogs and I trust her with them 100% which says a lot because my family is extremely picky. She has dog sat for my family since all three were puppies. She is responsible, reliable, charismatic, and so loving. I HIGHLY recommend Lucie any day.

While I do not have any breed preferences, it would be helpful for me to know of any particular fears or habits your dog may have. Like people, dogs each have their own personalities and preferences. I believe that being respectful of your dog's "normal" looks like is essential to their safety, and that is my top priority when it comes to your pet.
A typical day
I usually start the day with a let out or walk (depending on the weather). If it is not too hot or too cold, I love to walk through the nature path in my neighborhood. If the weather isn’t great for a long walk, we can play lots of games/fetch inside and out on the covered patio just to get some outside time in.

Availability
I am currently working full time in office, but am almost always home before 6pm. My employer is very flexible and I am able to shift my schedule around if needed.
