Pet care experience
I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't have either my own dog or a family dog by my side. My love of dogs even led me into a few years of working at veterinary clinics to see if I could cut it as a veterinarian. But the clinic life was not for me, so I decided to become a wildlife biologist instead.

Luke was great! Very responsive and sent a lot of pictures. It seemed like Mara had a great time.
Belle got on great with Luc and his pup, and we were both immediately comfortable with leaving her there for a couple days while away for work. Luc sent a few pics/vids of the ruckus they kicked up in the backyard and he was great with comms and flexibility around drop-off/pick-up times. Will be happy to take B back over to hang with them next time I can't take her along.

We have a small fenced yard and a dog park within the neighborhood - plus plenty of places to walk! I prefer to keep the dogs at my home, but I can accommodate house sitting occasionally.

Most of my dogs have been larger "aggressive" breeds (i.e. American Bulldog, Rottweiler. ), but I have experience with anything from Chihuahuas to Great Danes.
A typical day
I love to trail hike when the weather permits, but walking around the neighborhood or campus can be just as fun! My dog also has tons of energy, so he can usually wear anyone out at the dog park.

I’m currently teaching and finishing up my PhD at USU, while picking up new dog friends to walk and sit here and there. My schedule is fairly flexible.
