My entire life my family has fostered animals of all sorts of species, sizes, and breeds. Now as an adult I am foster pets in need of a home till we can find their forever home. I have experience personally with mostly rather large breeds. Growing up and continuing into adulthood I have owned & fostered large Purebred American Bulldogs, Boxers, Cane Corsos, American Pit-bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Siberian Husky/German Shepard mix, Great Dane/German Shepard mix, even a Pomeranian, & now a Saint Bernard. Ounce my family raised a litter of 8 American Bulldog puppies from birth until they were 10 weeks old. I often spent the weekends every summer at my Aunts home. Where they used to breed purebred American Bulldogs for show, as well as practicing cynology & ATF dog training. I have experience and I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, both puppies and senior dogs. Ounce my family moved from the country into the suburbs. I quickly realized I could make my first real money walking my next door neighbors dog, ounce a day for an hour. I walked my neighbors dog for three years until he moved. Even at times he would often come over and ask if I was available to wash and groom his dog for him. Later in life more into adulthood I found myself exploring all fields in the animal/owner kingdom. I now own a kitten American Short Hair tuxedo, a solid black tabby cat (full grown) a full grown gentle Australian Shepard, as well as a Champagne ferret, & a Cinnamon Ball Python. Roughly about a year ago my husband and I were asked to help raise and rehabilitate a baby raccoon. I recently resided my position as House Manager Direct Support professional in a group home for adults with either or both mental and physical disabilities. Due to the long 16hr days, 6 days a week, preventing me from taking care of my responsibilities at home entirely. I am completely available at all hours. In my home we are well equipped with permanently installed heavy duty/tall baby gates. Used to separate animals in times of need, without isolating and restraining said animal, which included when they are getting too out of hand or need to be fed separately from other animals. Also have a entire bedroom dedicated to the comfort of both dogs and cats. The window posses a rainbow privacy film, to prevent anyone from looking in, while also allowing plenty of natural sunlight. A rather large dog crate, with a divider allowing enough room for both a large and medium sized dog. A twin sized memory foam mattress, for the animals to lounge on. A litter box for our feline friends, also including far to many toys of all kinds to keeps the animals engaged and active. We also keep a fan and humidifier/purifier in help maintain quality air control in the room, for maximum comfort. A small size open yard, equipped with numerous leads to allow outside play time and bathroom use. On the plus side we carry many leashes/harnesses ranging in many different lengths & sizes. Throughout the home there are many humidifiers/purifiers to prevent the AC/Unit or Furnace from drying out the air and causing sinus and allergy issues.
