I have taken care of my Chocolate Lab (Nutmeg) since she was seven weeks at my childhood home. Our other dog we rescued and have had for 5 years. He is now 12. I have lived alone with both of these dogs for weeks at a time and washed them and walked them my whole life. I keep them up to date with medication and make sure they get all the attention they need.

Lucas is a loving caregiver for his Irish Setter, Murphy and his Chocolate Lab, Meggie. He is calm, sweet, and attentive to them, and they love him so much. Lucas will give great care to any dogs as if they were his own and he puts his heart and kindness into every interaction with animals.
Lucas is an honest, reliable, and friendly young man. Most importantly, he is a great dog lover. He grew up around dogs, and back home in Illinois are his two best friends: Meggie the chocolate labrador, and Murphy the Irish Setter. Lucas likes nothing better in life than spending time with his dogs (or anyone else's dogs) playing with them, walking them, petting them, and also feeding and picking up after them. He will be a great person for anyone looking for help looking after their dog.

Availability
I’m a student in college right now with classes during the day but otherwise very free. My campus is very pet friendly and I would take the dogs with me whenever necessary in addition to checking on them all the time. I probably spend 18-24 hours in my apartment daily.
