Thank you so much for looking at our profile! We are two young professionals who want a dog, but are waiting for the right time to find our own furry friend. In the meantime, we would love to take care of your dog and give them all of the love and attention that they deserve. We live in an duplex in Uptown with no other animals. We love to take walks around Lake of the Isles and have plenty of parks and green spaces nearby. Our apartment spacious, clean, and dog-furniture-friendly. We both grew up with dogs, and have plenty of experience dogsitting for neighbors and relatives. We love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and would love to take care of yours!

Lucas and Lizzy took great care of Lyla while I was away. They were very polite and wanted to make sure Lyla had everything she needs for a comfortable stay. They texted regular updates and photos throughout the week. I'd highly recommend them!
Lucas and Lizzy are great. They watched our mini golden doodle for a week while we were away on vacation. This was the first time we left Finley for that long. They sent pictures everyday with an update on how he was doing. This really put our minds at ease while we were away. When we picked Finley up he was in such a good mood. It was apparent he was well taken care !!! I highly recommend Lucas and Lizzy.
Lucas was a wonderful dog sitter! My dog seemed right at home. He sent so many photos and updates! I highly recommend.
You guys are amazing and I will absolutely bring Ruthie back for a visit. It’s so nice to know that I now have trusted babysitters for my girlie when I’m away. It’s seriously such a sigh of relief knowing that she had an amazing time with you guys while I was gone. I’m thinking she would’ve stayed another week if she could! Thank you soooo much!!!

We have had such positive experiences hosting dogs through Rover for the past two years in Buffalo, NY. Since moving to Minneapolis, we’re hoping to continue the fun! We are happy to share our bed with any dog, but also have plenty of space for their own bedding/crate as well.

We appreciate having information on your dog’s daily schedule (wake-up, bathroom, meals, walks, etc.) as well as any command words you commonly use (“do your business” for going to the bathroom or “heel” when walking).
A typical day
We love to take walks around Lake of the Isles and will happily take your pup to the dog park nearby (only if you feel comfortable with that). Since our furniture is dog-friendly, your pup can relax with us on the couch as we watch TV. We make sure to prioritize our time with your dog and will inform you of any time that we may be away for more than an hour. Otherwise, we spend our nights in playing with your pup and making sure they have a great time away from home.

Availability
I (Lucas) work from home for M&T bank, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog and make sure it gets all of the attention it needs. Lizzy goes to work during the day and will be home to help in the afternoons/evenings.
