Milehouse Farm Doggy Boarding - 'Home from Home'

Pet care experience

**COVID-19 UPDATE: 1. Please ensure you wear a mask and alcohol gel hands on drop-off and pick-up. 2. Pick-up and drop-off is outside the door in open space, and your dogs items will be cleaned on arrival. 3. Please cancel the booking asap (we will not charge you) if: - You or someone in your household is self-isolating due to covid-19 contact exposure (or recent travel) - You (or a member of your household) have any new cough, fever, malaise, loss of sense of taste/ smell, diarrhoea or vomiting (the latter 2 symptoms are the new COVID's variant's symptoms). We are both older and therefore high risk of serious complications if covid-19 is contracted, so would very much appreciate if we could be vigilant to protect us, you and your family. FULLY LICENSED home dog boarders by West Berkshire District Council ( Licence No: 17/01769/LWAA/EGM) We are a very loving family who will treat your dog as our own, and can tailor their stay according to their needs. As a couple who have looked after dogs for many years, we have the advantage of a huge fully enclosed garden (see pictures) for the dogs to play in, as well as many surrounding fields and farm for lovely walks. We offer pre-booked and last minute bookings for short-term stays and long-term holidays. The house has a lovely kitchen with warm Aga and cushions for the dogs to curl up next to in winter. We have a very friendly loving sausage dog and labrador who love having friends over to play. Please note we do not take: - 'Entire' (uncastrated) males or females - Dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (including the breeds: Pit bull, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Braziliero) - Young dogs under the age of two years as they deserve a tremendous amount of individual time and attention that we just cannot give them when we have other boarders, (and we often have up to 4 guest dogs staying). We have a business together from home, therefore are there 24/7 to look after your special friend. Your loved one will be taken for 2 walks per day around the surrounding fields and woodland, and then come back and have a lovely play in the very large garden, coming in and out of the house as they please. Before your dog comes please give us his or her nutritional requirements and feed for their stay, and their regime/ likes/ dislikes. Please let us know if you have any special requirements.

An excellent place for Mia; more like going to stay with a friend than board at a kennels. A lovely house and secure garden for the dogs. Professional and friendly care by Louise. Flexible timings that suited us and a reasonable price. Thanks very much. I am pleased you could fit us in at short notice.
