Pet care experience
Aside from having pets throughout my entire life I have been a reliable pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors since about the age of 10. Making sure to tailor my care to your pets needs is a guarentee from me! I am an animal lover, and made the lifestyle change to become vegan a few years ago. Pets bring me the joy close family does because that's what they are to me! I'm willing to give medication, walk, bathe, feed, and take care of any needs your pet may have.

This was the 2nd time I've used this sitter and the first time went very well. However, during a week long stay our dog was attacked by another dog belonging to the sitter. It resulted in several cuts and bleeding around my dogs eyes. While I have no doubt she didn't mean for this to happen I feel it's my responsibility to inform others who may be considering this service. We also did not receive back all the toys we sent during the stay as we were told it got lost. The sitters are very nice people but I'm very disappointed in the lack of care our dog received.
Louisa was great! She kept in touch with me the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and the adorable pictures!
Sparkles came back happy and relaxed after an overnight with Louisa. She's attentive to each pet's needs. I would recommend.
Very reasonable, flexible and friendly, 100% recommend her.

With a fenced in yard and doggy door I could be sure to get their exercise in when needed, and offer plenty of potty breaks. There will be 1-3 dogs at the home with me depending on the day, but there are separate living areas (mother-in-law basement) if there needs to be an isolated area for your pet.

Please let me know of any medication they are taking and how/when to administer it. If they have any special needs I am open to working with them as long as I feel I have enough information on how to properly care for them. In order to ensure the safety of your animal/s, and my own, inform me if they present any abnormal behaviors (anxiety, food/toy aggression, etc.) and I can adjust the environment to avoid conflict. If there are certain household rules (no pets on furniture, etc.) let me know and I will bring sure to enforce them.
A typical day
To start off the day we would get some much needed snuggles in before having breakfast. Then, once we are all up and grooving we would head out for a quick 1-1.5 mile walk around the neighborhood, or a nice park in the area. If your pup needs to get out more energy we will go play out back or give them a lick mat or treat puzzle. While hanging out at home I like to practice training and tricks to affirm good behavior, and of course, more snuggles! With younger dogs I usually get out for another short walk before bedtime to get settled down again. Once we are all ready for bed your pup can join me on my bed, or whatever you allow, and enjoy some more loves before snoozing.

Availability
Being a stay-at-home nanny during the week I can give full attention to your pet along with the childcare I give. Having only one child during the time which I care still allows me to provide all of the needs your pet may have! I'm used to taking daily walks with my own dogs, and would do so if your pet is up for it. Pets are my day-to-day so I would love to include yours for some fun!
