Pet care experience
I’ve had extensive experience working with and taking care of dogs. I helped raise my family dog (Addy, 13 y/o cockapoo) and am currently raising my own dog (Peanut, 1 y/o pug). I also volunteered regularly with a local dog rescue while attending school in Philly for the past four years.

Louisa loves dogs and would take great care of your special friend for you. Louisa grew up with a cockapoo named Addy that she adores to this day. When Louisa is home, one of Addy’s favorites places to sleep is in Louisa’s arms. While in college, Louisa volunteered to walk multiple shelter dogs nearly every week showing each one the personal attention they needed. Now that Louisa is on her own she has her own special friend, a cute little Pug named Peanut. Louisa brought Peanut into her home as a puppy and has done a fantastic job raising Peanut. Louisa takes great care of Peanut and ensures all her needs are met whether it be feeding, taking outside, taking to the dog park for socialization, spending lots of time with Peanut, and most importantly showing Peanut lots of love. You can trust Louisa to take great care of your special friend!
I’ve seen Louisa many times interact and live with her own pup, Peanut, and she demonstrates so much love and care. Louisa is truly a dog lover, and is happiest when hanging out with and loving on Peanut. Your pup will get tons of walks and cuddles. Peanut is a great dog, super friendly and active, and gets along with any other dog she meets whether playing at the dog park or passing by calmly on the street.

When your dog stays with me, you can rest assured that they are receiving the highest standard of care. Since I already have my own pup that lives with me, I live in a completely dog-proofed apartment. Additionally, since I am already a member of the Seattle dog parent community I know all the best dog parks and spots in the city that are safe and secure for your pup. My own pug has food allergies and needs medication administered frequently, so I have experience accommodating pup’s health needs.

A typical day
Each day will be an adventure that is tailored to the needs of your pup! My own pug Peanut adores going for long walks, visiting all the dog parks around Cap Hill/SLU, and having plenty of in-home play time with her toys, but we are willing to accommodate your dog’s energy levels and preferences in order to make it the best stay possible. Best of all, I am used to always taking photos of my own dog throughout the day so you can expect at least two photos sent each day of your dog during their stay. Oh, and if cuddle time on the couch counts for an activity, there is plenty of that too!

I work from home so I am available to watch your pup any day of the week! Since I already have my own dog, pet care is already baked into my weekly schedule. My pup Peanut is fed on regular intervals, goes on three daily walks, takes a trip to the dog park each day, and gets plenty of play time and cuddles. My pup is extremely easy going so we are more than happy to adjust our schedule to whatever works best for your dog in terms of their energy levels and likes/dislikes.
