Ever since I was little, I've always loved pets and believe that they have to be treated with respect. I spent all of middle school with a dog named Hershey, who was a mixed breed of a pitbull and a beagle. He was one of the reasons I loved coming home every day. Just seeing how excited he gets becomes so satisfying and it made me so happy. Sadly my parents didn't want to take care of him any longer so they had to give them away. Since then I haven't been able to get a pet. Even know I can't own one because I wouldn't be able to bring him home. Thanks to this, I know that if I were to have a dog in my house, i would love it and care for it as if it was my own, even if it's only for a few days.
