I have grown up and been responsible for a wide range of dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments, including: a Beagle/Spaniel, a Newfoundland, a Pug, a Chihuahua, a PooChon, a Welsh-collie and a Labrador. As well as many cats! I have been paid to walk and dog-sit my colleagues dogs. A schnauzer, a King Charles Spaniel and a Maltese. With the three dogs being elderly, I've been entrusted to dispense their medicine and special diet. I have always been an animal lover. I volunteered at the Matang Wildlife Centre in Sarawak, where they look after orangutans, sun bears, macaques, gibbons as well as other animals. I also volunteered at the Cardiff Dogs Home. I am confident with young bouncy puppies as well as slow and ageing dogs. Happy with large, strong dogs and little pocket-sized ones. I usually work in TV production and currently taking some time to write. I am looking for part-time work and can think of nothing better than spending that time walking a dog (as present circumstances mean I can't have my own - yet!)
