Pet care experience
We adopted Phoebe, our nervous rescue dog, in 2020. She gets along great with other dogs, but lots of things scare her, so I’m happy to make sure your nervous dog is comfortable, too. Phoebe requires a daily medicine, so I’m also happy to help your dog with those needs. We have a fenced yard, no children, and are a smoke free home. We’ll follow any detailed instructions you leave! I previously worked part time at Dog’s Best Friend, so I have lots of training experience, especially with puppies. I am great at understanding your dog’s needs and body language, and believe wholeheartedly in positive reinforcement training. If you’re looking for a sitter that will love your dog like it’s their own, look no further. Disclaimers: 🐾 We believe wholeheartedly in positive reinforcement, and will not use choke collars, shock collars, or prong collars. If those are required for your dog’s behavior, please seek care elsewhere. If your dog likes treats and compliments, you’re in the right place! 🐾 Our dog is the opposite of aggressive. If you have a dog who likes to “be the alpha”, please seek care elsewhere so that she remains comfortable in her own home

Matt and Lottie are absolutely lovely! They not only helped us out when our “usual” rover canceled last minute, but they were also incredibly accommodating to our long work days. On top of that, our border collie actually came home happy & tired both days. They also sent photos to update us on how she was doing, which was very reassuring. We will not hesitate to book with them again, 10/10 recommend!

Lottie did an outstanding job with my dog Denali! She quickly responded to communications both leading up to daycare and day of. Lottie also kept me updated throughout the day with texts and pictures. Denali loved spending time with both Lottie and her dog (Phoebe). Lottie kept Denali busy with fetch and play throughout the day. Denali was especially spoiled at daycare because Lottie's partner, Matt, took Denali on an extra-far walk (even though Lottie had to take Phoebe home). We loved picking up a happy, tired puppy at the end of the day! Cannot recommend Lottie enough!
Neila felt right at home when meeting Lottie and staying at her house for the day. Lottie was communicative and very attentive to my dog's needs. My dog is a little extra shy and nervous, and I was really happy with how well she was looked after and how well our dogs got along. I would definitely recommend Lottie and will rebook in the future.

If you prefer your dog crated, I’ll crate them. If they need medicine, I’ll administer it. We have a fenced yard and a playful dog ready and waiting for you!

I love to play training games with your dog, take them on short walks around the neighborhood if they enjoy that, play fetch in the yard, and let them play with my pup!

**Note: Boarding rates are based on 24 hour stays. You will be charged a daycare rate if the drop off and pick up times differ by more than 4 hours** I work full time from home, so unless I’m on a meeting, I’m happy to attend to any needs a dog has. My partner and I will both be home most evenings, and we are happy to schedule around dog care and how long your dog can be left alone (although that will be a rare occasion!)
