Pet care experience
I’ll treat your pup like my own! I’ve owned dogs my entire life. Hawaii resident for 16 years. I lived in a household growing up where we always had 3 or four pups that we rescued from the pound. I lost my sweet shitzu a few years ago (she was 16 years old and like a daughter to me) - and just can’t bring myself to get another dog just yet. I want to work with dogs 1) to earn extra income 2) to have dog time! Dogs truly bring me joy to be around, and I feel like I’m really good with them. I often say hi to a dog before it’s owner— oops! I just really love dogs!! I also do housesitting and will treat your home like my own. I currently live in town and have flexibility in my schedule, mostly based in town.

Our dog was very happy and must have had a great time while at Loryn's. Our dog was tired when she got home and must have had an exciting day during daycare. We received several updates and pictures throughout the day which made us very comfortable and not worried about our precious doggy. Thank you Loryn, our pup will return.
Loryn has watched jet several times and always seems very attentive and caring. Plenty of updates and pictures.
Finding Loryn to watch Sophie was such a blessing! I know Sophie was loved and taken well care of. Loryn sent photos of Sophie daily of their walks, outings and of Sophie just relaxing at home. I would highly recommend Loryn and we will definitely use her services again!

I don’t judge based on breed! I just prefer dogs that are housebroken. I also appreciate owners who provide pee pads and toys. I like when the pups can smell their toys or dog beds to have a sense of security.
A typical day
I love walks around my local neighborhood in Makiki, as I know the best dog walking routes. Very dog friendly! I am very aware of other dogs when I walk. I assure you that your dogs are in good hands with me! I definitely cater to older dogs and have a nice stretch of grass to easily walk them for breaks at my home. My large lanai is also a great place for pups to hang out!

Availability
My schedule is flexible at this time. I’m at home a lot, if I go “out” I’m working my part time job, out sailing, or at a park doing yoga! I don’t like waking up very early. I do love having a pup around.
