Hi! I'm Lory. A little about me: I've earned the 'dog whisperer' title in my family since I've always been a dog lover. We always had a dog growing up so I really believe it's a dog that helps make a house a home. Now, my husband and I have a dog-ter (daughter) named Colbie. She is a German Shepard/Greyhound mix. I work from home on the East Side and have a lot of flexibility with scheduling because of that. I also love to walk around our beautiful neighborhood, through Lake Park, up to Atwater Park, and back. It's nice for my family, that I can be here to take care of our dog but I know not everyone is as fortunate. I figured, I could potentially help some neighbors out by easing their minds about their pups at home. I'm available for walks and drop ins on the East Side and southeast Shorewood. I will usually, walk or bike to your home so proximity to my home is a factor. I'm more than happy to help train or reinforce good habits on a leash if you'd like. I've put a few of my own dogs through different obedience courses over the years and I know a little can go a long way when rewarding good behavior with a dog. If you'd rather we just walk about and have a great time smelling all the smells, and visiting all the hydrants, that's good with me too! Typically, I'm a quick walker. I like walking for my own health as well and I find that helps dogs stay in tuned with their walk and less distracted by other dogs, bunnies, squirrels etc. However, if your pup is more slow-paced, I can totally get on board with that too!
