Pet care experience
I will give lots of attention and love to your dog(s). I am home full time. I am always available to let your dog out in my yard or take them out for a walk. I am likewise always available for cuddles, belly rubs, and to play fetch or tug of war with them all day if they want! If they're of the couch potato variety (as is one of my three dogs), I'm okay with that as well! Now that my four human children are grown, my dogs are my "babies": they get all the love that such babies (or "fur babies" rather) deserve, and I have plenty of room in my house and heart for more! I am a dog person through and through and will take good care of your dog(s) when they are with me. I will send you updates, photos and videos throughout their stay. Additional Information Meet & Greets- I will not confirm any booking requests without having a meet and greet first. I believe it is important to have a meet and greet for several reasons, but the most important is to make sure we(our dogs) are a good match. Meet and greets are held in my home so that you can see where your pup will be staying, it also allows me to see how your pup interacts with mine. It is also a chance for us to go over care instructions, to discuss any possible triggers and things to know about your pup and ways to avoid/handle these things. A meet and greet lasts approximately 15 minutes. I will accept the booking request after a meet and greet if we are a good match. Rates not listed under services are as follows- Early drop off (before 7:30 AM) $50.00 Late Pick Up-(30 min. after scheduled pick up time $40.00) Late night pick up-Pick up (after 9:30 pm) $50.00
Reviews
Lorraine is the best!!! She always takes the best care of our dog, and is clearly passionate about her pup. We always feel such peace of mind when our little guy is with her!
Lorraine always does an amazing job watching over our fur-baby! She takes such great care of our pup, it's as if she is one of her own. Treats, medicine, walks, play ... everything is taken care of! And every day we get great photos and videos that show our pup is having an awesome time with her fellow furry friends. We can't recommend Lorraine highly enough!
Lorraine is exceptional! We feel so comfortable leaving our "dogter" in her care. She is thoughtful about checking in with us every day with updates, photos and videos. She always gives our pup her medicines on time and per our instructions; takes her for walks; is mindful of her play with the other dogs there; and in general is just super considerate and loving toward her, giving her a safe and friendly home environment. We truly could not ask for more! Highly recommend!!!
This is the second time Bowie stayed with Lorraine, and she is simply the best! Her communication has been incredible and prompt. We love the photos and videos she sends of Bowie and friends. Highly recommend Lorraine, Bowie will be staying with her again!

Your dog will be cared for like they are one of my own. I have 3 dogs that welcome guest dogs into the pack. Dogs that stay with me are given lots of love and attention. They are allowed on the furniture. I don't crate dogs but will upon owner's request(provided by the owner). I will feed your dog according to your instructions and will always ask about dietary restrictions and any food related behaviors. I make homemade jerky with either chicken or fish with nothing extra added which are a big hit in my home. I can administer medications if needed. Dogs have access to clean fresh water at all times. I have a backyard which has no entry/exit except through the back door of my house. I let the dogs out frequently for potty breaks(every 1-3 hours). I will not leave them unattended for long periods of time while in the yard, but if the weather is nice, we'll hang out in the yard together. I have In addition to backyard potty breaks, I take the dogs out for walks 2 times/day.

Information Lorraine G. would like to know about your pet
I would like to ask that if they have a male dog that "marks" to bring a belly band(which I would keep on them while in the house). Also, if your dog pees repeatedly even though I let the dogs out for frequent potty breaks, I have both female diapers and belly bands which I will put on in this situation. If you know your dog will mark, please bring diapers. Thank you. I don't have any breed preferences but as specified earlier a small dog under 20lbs. I would like to know if they are okay being around cats(my cat has been around dogs her whole life and sometimes I think she thinks she is dog!) and of course if they get along with other dogs. On occasion I have accepted bigger dogs but it depends on the temperament and activity level of the dog. One of my dogs can be afraid of bigger dogs if they are very active so it has to be a dog that is chill. What if any quirks or things I would need to know when taking them out for a walk(do they bark at other dogs, etc...) I would also like to know if anything triggers or makes them anxious(ex. fireworks, thunderstorms, skateboards, other big dogs, etc...) I would also need to know if your dog has any food allergies or restrictions. You will need to bring your dog's food along with serving amounts.
A typical day
I'll play fetch with your dog(in the house or in the backyard). I will take them for walks around my neighborhood. I'm always ready if they want...for a cuddle or belly rub.

Availability
I am home full time and when I have dogs staying with me I try not to schedule appointments or leave them alone for longer than 2 hours max. I can then give all of my love, attention and care to your dogs. My clients tell me that their pups consider my place as their home away from home and they are excited when they come back for repeat stays.
