Pet care experience
I am an experience dog handler (and retired primary teacher) who has trained award winning dogs in obedience. My dogs have also been certified as therapy pets and participated in agility and flyball. Previous breeds have included Papillons, toy and miniature poodles, French bulldogs, labradors, and labradoodles. We have a young dog of our own in our home and wish to share our dog love and experience with some perky Doggy Vacay guests. We live near many fabulous beaches and parks so your pet will be getting lots of playtime and exercise. We have two outdoor fenced areas suitable for small breeds to chill, take a sun bath or lounge in the shade. Your house-broken pet will be able to roam freely in our home. Puppy care will be discussed but we will make sure to build on your pups housebreaking routine. Our fenced area is not appropriate for large breeds so we are only able to take the smaller pooches.

First time user of this app and new to Victoria - was immediately comfortable with Lorraine and Tom from first contact. Did a meet and greet and immediately knew we were at the right place for our baby Dachshund. While away we received daily messages and videos and never worried about Mia. Lorraine and her husband were absolutely lovely to my two dogs, Bailie and Laurelle. I needed to make overnight arrangements and Lorraine was able to accommodate on short notice. While I was away, Lorraine made sure to send pics of the dogs; I could see they were happy and at ease during their stay and when I arrived to pick them up. I would definitely recommend Lorraine as a doggie caretaker. Jade S
Lorraine and I have been neighbours for many years who have had "personal best friend" dogs who were also best friends of each other. Her Papillion and my Bichon/Yorkie were 15 & 17 when they each passed away and it has lately filled a hole in Lorraine's heart to "pup sit" a puppy two days a week. I would highly recommend Lorraine as a "dog whisperer" who would take excellent care of anyone's precious best friend while at work or on holiday.
I met Lorraine when walking my new puppy. We got talking and when she learned I was looking for someone to watch my dog a few days a week when at work she offered on the spot to do so. As we communicated over the next few days/weeks I quickly learned how much she cared for and enjoyed dogs. Lorraine and her husband have been very accommodating and their home is well suited for dogs and is in a great area with lots of places to walk. Mango (the puppy) is so happy to go to Lorraine's each week. Lorraine also has experience training dogs and is knowledgable about dog behaviour.
