Promise great care for all pets

Pet care experience

I started taking a friend's Boston Terrier out for walks after work when she would be late coming home. Buddy is a very playful dog and easy to walk. I was offered a pet sitting opportunity by a family going away for the weekend and I met Lucy, a 2 year old Mastiff. She was a little more challenging because of her size. We had a great weekend! She was sweet, very good in the house and a pleasure to walk. I've also checked in on cats while their owners are away. One kitty loves to be brushed and I have to say, it's very relaxing for me too! Finally, I am the proud pet parent of Buoy, a 4 year old Irish Water Spaniel. He has a ton of energy, even after a very long walk! He is sometimes stubborn but always friendly and loving. A walking client of mine recently inquired about boarding their dog Sadie. I have a great relationship with Sadie and I let my client know that as long as Sadie and my dog Buoy could play well together, then I would be able to board her. We had a doggie play date and it went very well! Sadie stayed with us for a week and it was wonderful! Some of my other walking clients began to inquire about boarding so I decided to add that as one of my services. I really enjoy getting to spend time with my established clients as well as meeting new ones looking for a temporary home away from home. I recently completed the Dog Tec Dog Walking Academy. I received training in canine behavior and learning theory, reading body language, leash handling skills, basic training, avoiding and handling dog fights, safety protocols and emergency preparedness and business ethics. I am also Pet First Aid and CPR certified. I would love to provide a safe and fun walk or visit for your pet as well as peace of mind for you. I understand that pet parents love their pets but sometimes need to be away from home for work or vacation. I am happy to help out and give your pets some exercise and attention while you are away. I am open to meeting all kinds of pets that need to be walked, fed or just need a friendly hello while their owners are away.

Lorraine was very dependable, friendly and caring toward our cat. She sent me texts about his well being every day. She spent a lot of time getting to know him beforehand. She also took in our mail every day! I would hire her again any time!

Lorraine was a very thoughtful boarder. She made sure our dog was comfortable with her dog, the yard, the environment etc. She had everything all thought out and was very friendly and personable. We recommend her and would definitely use her again.

Information Lorraine C. would like to know about your pet

The dog would have to be dog friendly since I have a dog. All potential sitting clients must meet my dog Buoy to see if they would play well together. I have a toddler so it is important for all potential sitting clients to have some experience with small children.

A typical day

I love to take walks around the neighborhood or in a local dog friendly park. I will throw a ball or frisbee for your dog too. If your dog is staying with me, they will enjoy trail walks around the local pond and a fully fenced in yard to run around.
