I've taken care of dogs and cats of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I've crate and house trained dogs. I've cared for cats with medical conditions, including giving daily insulin shots. I'm patient, trustworthy, and caring. As a pet owner myself, I understand the anxiety that can come with having someone else care for your pet. I'll care for your pet as if it were my own.

Lorna was excellent with my dog, Callie! She checked in with how Callie was doing, stuck to her routine, and was so communicative. Callie clearly had a good time and seemed a little bummed to leave! I’m definitely planning on using Lorna again next time I need a sitter
Lorna was wonderful!! This was the first time having my dog Chloe watched and Lorna made it such a reassuring and relieving experience. Lorna took incredible care of Chloe and provided cute pictures and updates everyday!

I live in a very dog friendly building and neighborhood. My building even has a pet spa if your pup needs a bath! I also live down the street from a well maintained and fenced in dog park, if that's something your dog is used to. I have ample space for a crate if you prefer your dog be crated at night. I have a 10 year old cat that lives in the home. She is older and used to having other animals around. She spends most of her time sleeping under the bed.

A typical day
I can provide play time and long walks for dogs with high energy needs. I live close to a fenced in dog park if that is something the owner is comfortable with/the dog is used to. I often take dogs to rock creek park so that we are able to go on long walks without running into other people/dogs/cars.

Availability
I'm currently a flexible work from home employee, so I have plenty of time to spend with your animal. I'm able to take frequent breaks for walk or play time. I'm available for boarding throughout the week and on weekends.
