To own a dog is the most enjoyable and loving experience one could have. I have been fortunate enough to have always had a dog in my life, either through ownership or by enjoying the company of a friend's dog. My last dog Ellie was my best friend. For seven years we were inseparable. I was even lucky enough to be able to take her to work with me. After her passing three years ago I just haven't been able to bring myself to own another, but every chance I get to spend with my friend's dogs brightens my day. I believe in the best care for all animals. I love to cuddle and exercise them. There is nothing more enjoyable than a happy dog. There is nothing more wonderful than cuddling up with a dog, training him to do a new trick or taking him out for a log walk. A tired dog is a happy dog. A typical day would include waking up early and taking my little visitor for a short walk and a pee, and then I am off to work. Mid day I stop in for a short walk and a pee and a short play session, and then I am home for the day a few hours afterwards. Weekends I am home so my visitors get extra attention.
