Pet care experience
I have been a professional pet care provider since 2010. I am a member of, and I am a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International (PSI). In addition to being certified, I am fully insured and bonded through Business Insurance of the Carolinas & I am also pet first aid and CPR certified through PSI. I have extensive experience with all breeds, ages, and different-abled types of dogs. I specialize in exotic pets! I have experience with oral and topical medications, injections, and IV fluids. I am also experienced with emergency care - it's important to have someone in charge when you're gone that can move swiftly in emergency situations! I am currently in grad school for Animal Science & Behavior, and am currently starting work as an Animal Behaviorist. I look forward to hearing from you!

Lori was competent in taking care of my dog. Unfortunately she was not there as much as I had thought she would be and my dog was alone more than I had anticipated/planned for while she went and checked on other dogs. During that time, he (my dog) barked himself nearly hoarse in distress of being alone. If I were to book her again, I would clarify how long she would be gone checking on others dogs as I did not want my dog left alone for as long as he was. Overall, he survived and she did the job competently but I don’t feel that she went above and beyond.
Lori was responsive, punctual and friendly. I highly recommend Lori for all your pet sitting needs! I will definitely use her services again!

Availability
I pet sit and dog walk full time, so I will need flexibility to come and go during overnight stays. My overnights are 10-12 hours, and I include a 30 minute afternoon or early evening potty break and feed time. My overnight stay is typically between 9:30 pm and 8 am, but varies depending on how booked I am for drop-in visits.
