Hi, I'm Lori and I'm a Rover Premier Sitter! Because I work from home, I am home full time and can provide your dog with a ton of attention. Currently, I have no dogs of my own and miss having dogs in my life. I have also done dog behavioral training and have been doing dog rescue work for years. My home is pet safe and there is a fence around my backyard. Also the whole home is tile so there is easy clean-up. There is plenty of backyard to just hang out and relax or we can find a neighborhood friend to play with. We also have a ton of toys and one room dedicated just to the dogs. I'm a very active person, I love physical fitness and doing outside activities. I am also a firm believer that dogs need to be properly exercised and challenged, so I have always included dogs in walking, hiking and travel. When your dogs and I are hanging out, there will be walks, playtime, snacks, and cuddling, assuming all of that is ok with you. There will be lots of time spent together getting to know each other. I live in Gilbert near great walking trails and parks with plenty of green grass to roll around in and sprinklers to run through for those hot Arizona days. There is also a big dog park called Cosmos Park close by that we can go to. Some of my first memories as a child were of the dogs we had in our family. I grew up thinking everyone had a dog, to me a dog was a necessity. I have always felt a special bond with dogs and have always respected the closest bond that most of us will ever have with another species. Every dog that I have ever owned has been special in there own way. With that said though, the recent loss of my pit bull, Molly. has left me with a profound sadness that only a dog owner could understand. She was a rescue and I reluctantly took her when no one else would. She had major behavioral issues and had spent most of her life tied to a tree in the Arizona heat. Having her in my life was an unbelievable gift and I'm a better person because of it. I can't wait until I can give your dog the same love and affection that I would give my own dog.
