24/7 Attention and Spoiling!

In addition to tons of practical, hands-on experience with my own dogs for the past 30 years, I currently work with a rescue group as a "foster mom.” The dogs come to us with different personalities shaped by difficult backgrounds: some are fearful, some are insecure, some are seriously ill. We work with them to restore wellness and attain healing, confidence, and the playful joy that is every dog’s birthright. Then, they are placed ...

What Lori would like to know about your dog

Everything you’d like to share! As foster parents, we’re often left to try to put together the pieces of a dog’s backstory, so we appreciate knowing as much as possible upfront about your dog’s background, preferences, and routine. That way, we can avoid any missteps and help them get settled in with us quickly. We’ll pay special attention to separation anxiety, medical needs, and any concerns you have about leaving your pooch behind while you travel. At our meet-and-greet, we’ll ask any specific questions that arise based on our observations.

When Lori watches your pet

We’ll spend our days hanging out and becoming best buds. In addition to several walks a day, we’ll work in playtime, treats, and a nap or two if that’s what your dog wants! We’ll get out to the beach often, enjoying the outdoors as much as possible, and follow your usual routine closely so that your dog knows exactly what to expect. Our goal is to help your dog trust us implicitly, so we’ll engage in lots of games and cuddles as part of our bonding time.
