Pet care experience
I volunteered for years with Stray Rescue in their shelters as well as hosting many fosters in my home. I have also had my own dogs and cats for 22 years. I mainly fostered puppies until they were fully up to date on shots and could be separated from their litter mates. I currently live with 2 dogs (1 senior, 1 tripod), 3 cats (all seniors, 1 diabetic) and 4 chickens :)

Lori is a wonderful pet sitter! She is very patient and attentive, with a lot of experience caring for special needs dogs and cats. Her experience as a foster for a local rescue gives her a leg up on meeting and understanding the needs of animals from all backgrounds.
Lori is a non-discriminating animal lover--she loves them all! She has owned and fostered many dogs, cats, even chickens. Her animals are always well behaved and well cared for. It's not just playtime when she's around; she respects owners' boundaries and training preferences. My dog is like my child, and I would trust him with Lori anytime. She would make a very dedicated, hard-working member of your team!

I have a fenced yard and the 2 resident dogs love other dogs. One dog, however, only approves of the resident cats and has no tolerance for stranger cats, so I would not be able to care for cats in my own home.
