Hello, I am Lori Horsley-Fricke I am a full time certified professional pet sitter, member and insured through Pet Sitters Associates. I have completed background checks from Rover, Department of Energy, Richland school district, and WSU 4-H. I will be home with your pet (my services are overnight stay and daycare only so I can be with your puppy-dog full time). I enjoy continuing my education on pet first aid, behavioral training, and more. - I prefer small to medium breeds (up to about 50 pounds) - No aggression of any kind - Potty trained (unless under 5 months), spayed/neutered (unless under 6 months) - I will NOT accept dogs that mark (pee on furniture) - Dog/puppy friendly - Crate trained preferred - No high energy dogs please - No stays longer than 7 days if new client. New clients need at least a one 4 hour daycare visit before overnight stays. - I host multiple dogs. I am happy to provide a fun, calm environment (by using aromatherapy and pet relaxation techniques). I am proud to provide an environment for socialization; taking them on field trips for exposure to new experiences and people. Puppy-dogs enjoy being part of a pack and they get that experience at The Puppy Place. I had worked on the Hanford site for 25 years and left to pursue my passion; caring for puppies and dogs. My family growing up raised, trained, and showed English Pointers. My family now is involved in a local rescue organization and we have fostered puppies for the past 10 years (over 70 puppies have received love from my family). My dog pack is dog friendly and experienced with all ages and sizes. I would like for your puppy or dog to get established with us so you feel comfortable going to work or out of town with no worries; 90% of my clients are repeat clients. I have a large (acre) yard to play. I will help you continue your puppy-dog training (with love and positive response) at my home, such as potty training, ringing a bell to go outside, sit, crate train, as well as socializing with all sizes and ages of dogs. I also provide the puppy-dogs with dog puzzle games to keep those puppy-dogs learning and active. Our home is puppy/dog friendly floors, lots of throw rugs (that can be washed from those potty training puppies) and that lived in look with puppy chew marks and dog toys throughout the house. Hours are 7:30am - 6:00pm Overnight stay at $37. Pick ups are before 12:00/noon after that daycare charges will apply. Daycare (7:30 - 6:00pm) is day services only; at $25. Weekend daycare is $37. Services I provide: Overnight stay - My home in a loving environment with a full time professional pet sitter. They get to play with other dogs, play in a large yard, splash in the puppy pool, and more. Playtime / Doggy Daycare - In my home where puppies get interaction with other puppies and dogs. Learn to sit, ring a bell to go outside, potty train, and just have fun being a puppy. Come play for a couple hours or the whole day. Completed Courses: Pet Sitting Certification; Dog CPR and First Aid; Simple Solutions to Common Dog Behavior; Dog training for Humans: How to play with your dog; Home Dog Business with Rover Platform; Certified Pet Reiki Practitioner. Like Us on Facebook: The Puppy Place Pet Sitting *For a meet and greet only you will still need to create a booking for a daycare or boarding. Just select a day that you would be available, then in the message explain you would like a meet and greet only. We will coordinate a day and time that will work for the both of us. Reviews
Amazing experience with Lori!
Maggie was in good spirits and seemed to have enjoyed her stay
My pup had a great time at doggy daycare and Lori is incredibly communicative! She’s very thoughtful about the how the different dog personalities interact with one another to make sure every dog has a fun and safe time. She was also really flexible with my changing schedule. I will be sending my puppy to doggy daycare on a regular basis and highly recommend for anyone looking for a trustworthy person to watch their dog!
Lori is amazing. She did a wonderful job for a last minute week long boarding situation. Regular updates and info about our dog. Will definitely trust Lori with our pup again. Thanks Lori!

Information Lori H. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how old your puppy/dog is, breed, have they had all their shots, spayed or neutered. Have they been socialized with other puppies/dogs? Any special requirements? For more than three nights we prefer that they have been with us before to make sure things run as smooth as possible. I also recommend you get your puppy established with us and come on a regular basis so going out of town or staying for the day is very comfortable for them and us.
