Pet care experience
We have been a dog owners for 20 years. ALL of our friends and family joke that we should open a professional dog boarding business because we are always watching people’s dogs. They trust us because we always make the dog feel like they are at home. Lots of attention, walks (if they like walks), cuddles, free roam of the house and fenced yard, treats and lots of toys to keep them entertained. We have watched dogs that need medication or special diet as well. We have a small Dachsund that gets along with all dogs from a tiny yorkie we watch, to a giant Bernese mountain dog. You don’t have to worry about leaving your dog with us. You’ll get lots of pics (if you like) and updates. Just don’t be surprised when they are excited to come back!

Lori and Will (Guillermo) were fantastic. They took phenomenal care of Chloe, our beloved Australian Labradoodle, while providing frequent pics and updates. My only concern was that Chloe wouldn't want to come home. I can't recommend them enough.
Lori and Will are fantastic! We are doing construction in our house and needed to give fearful Sadie a nice place to get away from the people and noise for one of the crazier days. Sadie had already been to Lori and Will's 3 times (meet and greet, a walk with their dog Winnie, and one time to meet another dog who they were boarding). Lori and Will gave us plenty of time to acclimate, and the Doggy Daycare was a success! We're planning on boarding Sadie for several days, and this turned out to be a terrific test run. Lori and Will are patient and kind, have a great home, and are very flexible. Plus, they are walking distance from us! We couldn't be happier.
I was out of town for a few weeks and wanted to ensure that my dog Ozzy had a cozy and loving place to stay while I was away because he definitely needs lots of attention and cuddling. Fortunately we found Lori and Will who took such good care of him the whole time! He truly was part of their family while I was gone and enjoyed plenty of play time with their dog Winnie and got lots of cuddles and love. Lori would regularly send me pictures so I felt much more relaxed and wasn’t worried about how he was doing. At one point Ozzy’s eye started to get goopy and they quickly reached out to me and we came up with a care plan together to ensure that it was handled quickly, which involved his meds and the vet. Lori and Will were also incredibly flexible as schedules and plans changed and were very understanding. I’ll definitely work with Lori and Will in the future and I appreciate their high level of care for Ozzy!

We have a nice walking path in our neighborhood as well as a forest preserve trail within 5 minutes that we love to walk. We have lots of toys and a big yard for playing catch or fetch!

Availability
My husband and I both have flexible jobs and work from home. So we are able to take breaks, give a dog attention they need any time during the day. Our dog is usually on the couch in my office or in the recliner chair in my husband’s office during the day and we give a lot of attention.
