Hello! My name is Lori, and I LOVE dogs. I have my own rescue dog, Sophie. She has been in my life for about 7 years. I regularly volunteer at a local no-kill animal shelter. I work closely with many dogs of various sizes and breeds. Recently, I have started working more with shy, more scared dogs to help them get acclimated to the shelter, and human interaction. This takes a lot of patience, as progress with these pooches is usually slow going. Working on common commands, helping dogs get used to walking on a leash, playing with them in dog parks, walking and running are some of my favorite things to do with these furry, four-legged friends. I am always up for giving a belly scratch and enjoying snuggles.

We wanted to say how thankful we were to find Lori. It was short notice and a holiday also and she opened up her home to our little baby for an 8 night stay. Her little dog Sophie and ours got along well, and Lori was very accommodating to a few things that our Taz needed during her stay! Her home is neat, clean and low stress, which was perfect vs. high energy and stress levels at a boarding facility with many dogs. Thank you Lori for your help!
I had a short-notice weekend event and Lori was flexible and took excellent care of my 2 Scottish terriers. We’ll definitely schedule another care visit with Lori!
Lori is great with all kinds of dogs. She volunteers her time at a local animal shelter. There she walks dogs and also works with dogs that have unique challenges due to being surrendered to a shelter. She grew up with dogs and also has one of her own (which she adopted from a shelter). She is a dog lover and would be a great companion/caregiver for your dog.
