I want to be a dog sitter because I enjoy taking care of them. I love them so much that I will take care of them just as if they were my own pet. I owned a German Shepherd for the first 13 years of my experience, and I have owned small and large dogs since then to date. I like to walk and care for the dogs, and I have had several jobs feeding and caring for dogs in the past. What sets me apart from other dog sitters and walkers is my experience. I have had over 30 years experience caring for dogs. Not only have I just cared for my own dogs, but I’ve cared for others as well. I will communicate with owners effectively, by asking them how they would take care of their pets, as well as making sure I know what to do in the event of an emergency. I would like to know more about the dog and how they react to certain situations (such as interacting with other dogs, people, children, etc.) before I would be comfortable taking care of them. My son Luke will be with me from time to time, helping me out. He is learning what it takes to become a dog sitter in the future.
