As an animal lover who does volunteer work with my local animal shelter, I want you to know that your pet will be cared for with the same love and safety I give to my own pets and our fosters. I've had pets since I lived on my own. I'm that person who cannot pass an animal on the street without stopping and squatting down to offer an ear scratch or kind word. (with owner's permission, of course!) My ultimate goal is to have my own animal rescue and help create a safe & loving space specifically for senior pets who have been surrendered. If they stay with us for their twilight years - so be it. The main goal though would be permanent placement with a family/person who understands their special needs.
