We are full time travellers in our RV and so we would prefer to care and love your pets in your/their own home. Additionally, we find that your pets are also far more comfortable with all their familar walking routes, yard and environment.

We have no preference in breeds, we would just prefer a full run down on your pets' needs, preferences, moods and abilities (or lack of abilities). We are sensitive to what they can and cannot do, like and do not like. We will follow your direction.
A typical day
We snuggle, gently wrestle with those doggies who like it, we throw balls and play with toys, we go for walks either in yards, on paths or at dog parks, all at the owners discretion and direction.

Pet care experience
Hi, we are Ayr & Lori, a responsible, trustworthy couple, married since 1999! We do not have our own kids or pets but we have had many years experience caring for other peoples pets (mostly dogs as we have cat allergies). We love to travel, read, garden, fly fish, camp and meet new people and pets. We have been many places, have stayed in many different types of accommodations and have cared for many types and numbers of dogs. We are capable of yard maintenance, errands, and general upkeep of properties. We are used to maintaining a home as we do own 2 properties in our city that we maage as rentla properties. So, we fully understand what a home owner is looking for for upkeep in terms of cleaning, yard maintenance, pet help, taking in mail, and respect for the property itself and neighbors in the area. We both work from home, running online businesses and so we are also available all day for the care and attention your pets deserve. We are very low key, quiet people. We are honest, reliable, and loyal. We make fast friends and look forward to meeting you and helping you with your house and pet sitting needs. Sincerely!

I can’t recommend Lori and Ayr enough for any of your pet sitting needs. They helped me out for 3 summers at our dog and cat pet retreat. They are very attentive and follow directions well. Your pets will be in good hands!
We had the pleasure of having Lori & Ayr housesit for us on a number of occasions while we were off travelling the world! They did a wonderful job of caring for our home, kept the garden ship-shape (no mean feat in our yard during the summertime!) and the house cleaned immaculately. They are very pleasant, friendly people, conscientious with communication and completely reliable. We could rest assured that our home was well cared for and "loved" while we were gone! We highly recommend Ayr & Lori for any house/pet sitting opportunities you may have!
We are so grateful to have had Lori and Ayr look after our home and beloved pets while we were away — they truly went above and beyond! Just before we left, we received some worrying news about one of our dogs' health, which meant Lori and Ayr unexpectedly took on the added responsibility of administering medication and keeping our little one calm and rested (not an easy task!). They handled it all with such care and grace, without a moment's hesitation — it meant the world to us. Throughout our time away, they kept us updated with photos and videos that instantly put our minds at ease. Knowing our fur babies were in such kind, capable hands allowed us to actually relax and enjoy ourselves. Beyond being exceptional sitters, Lori and Ayr are simply wonderful human beings. The kind of people you could sit with for hours, swapping stories and laughing like old friends. They bring such warmth, reliability, and genuine trustworthiness to everything they do. We cannot recommend them highly enough — if you're lucky enough to have them look after your home and pets, you're in the very best of hands. 💛
Ayr and Lori took care of my 5-bedroom house and 15 acre (6 hectare) horse, cattle and produce farm in Panama for 6 month a little bit before COVID. They also pet-sat for my 9 large dogs (mostly Rottweilers and Mastiffs, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback) as well as some chickens and ducks. They were amazing. Great communication, very attentive and conscientious and went above and beyond expectations to make sure the house stayed well kept, clean and in order and the pets were well cared for. This included occasional runs to the veterinary clinic and administration of basic medicine when needed. Lori even went with my son and I on a border-run to save a rescue dog one time! They were also very flexible and pleasant to visit with when I made trips to the farm. Since then we have remained friends and stayed in contact because they are simply great people. I have learned a lot from them and enjoyed following their travels. I would highly recommend them without reservation.
