***NOTE: ACCEPTING BOOKINGS FOR CURRENT CLIENTS ONLY AT THIS TIME ** As a lifelong dog owner, I have had many years of experience caring for my own dogs - from puppies to seniors, from healthy to special needs. I also have spent many years fostering dogs while they awaited adoption and, yes, a few those resulted in "foster fails"! In addition to caring for my own pets, I also have been a kennel tech at boarding and training facilities in the Austin area. It's been quite some time since I held that position, but I have always been interested in and good at taking care of four-legged kids. I've always been my friends' and family's go-to when they need a dog sitter - that's how I became Your Dog's Favorite Auntie! All dogs are family here. My pup just had her first visit with Lori and I am very happy with the care she received. My dog Lucy is a senior with some health issues who can sometimes be uneasy and reactive around new people. Lori was incredibly patient with Lucy and was able to win her over in a short time. I could tell she was relaxed and happy from Lori’s daily updates. Lori is clearly a true dog lover and I will definitely have her sit for me again.

I have a fully fenced backyard (privacy fence) and a friendly dog of my own who is patient and respectful of other dog's boundaries. Canine house guests are given countless backyard potty breaks and play sessions, and neighborhood walks, as needed/requested. I offer a quiet, safe home with lots of love and attention.

Let me know if your pup has any special preferences or behaviors that I need to be aware of and I'll be sure those are appropriately addressed during his/her time with me! To ensure the best possible care, all new clients must attend a meet and greet with me and my dog.
A typical day
I love playing fetch, Frisbee, hide and go seek, and any other games your dog likes to play! I live in a great neighborhood with plenty of safe sidewalks for walks, and if your pup likes a little more adventure, I'm always excited about going on a hike at one of the countless hiking trails nearby. If your pup just enjoys a quiet place to rest and catch up on beauty sleep, I've got you covered with that as well! I also offer bathing services - nothing fancy, just a good scrubbing, so your pup comes home smelling fresh as a daisy. Bathing services are offered, up on request, at no charge for dogs who are boarding.
