Pet care experience
Hello, there! I have a 6 year old bulldog, Daisy, who is my baby. I started getting puppy fever but realizing it wasn't the best time to take on a puppy full-time I decided to start volunteering at Friends for Life. Getting my fill of dog cuddles while also giving back to the community. As soon as I heard about Rover I figured I might as well do that too! The more (dogs) the merrier!

Lorena is great with animals! She has helped me care for and walk my dog as well as my mom's dog many times. Lorena has experience working with both large dogs (my dog is a 75lb german shephard mix and my mom's dog is a 65lb pitbull), and small dogs. Lorena spends her spare time volunteering at the local animal shelter caring for, playing with, and walking the dogs. I've never met someone more qualified and genuinely invested in the dog's best interest. I would recommend Lorena to anyone looking for a caring, responsible and loving human to look after your fur child!

A typical day
I live in Northwest Houston but available to provide services in the Heights, Downtown, River Oaks, and Champion Forest just to name a few areas. I am currently between jobs, so my availability is very flexible. I will take your dog on a walk or jog around your area and make sure they potty before getting back home. For drop in visits, if there's any tricks you're trying to teach them, let me know! I will gladly work on it with them. I'll make sure they're fed and have water available before leaving.
