Hello! My name is Lorena! 29 years young (lol) a stay at home mom. I have 2 dogs of my own, had 2 growing up, kinda have a farmstead going on at home. With that comes the knowledge of biosecurity and keeping to a schedule. I have been taking care of dogs since I was a little girl. I had two Shar-peis growing up so I have experience with the breed. Shar-peis are delicate dogs with sensitive coats and usually have their skin cut around their eyes because their extra skin can cause Entropion. This is a condition where the eyelids roll inward to irritate the eyeball and the eyelashes can scratch the cornea. Sometimes this surgery can go wrong and the dog may need eye drops or ointment indefinitely. This was the case with my dog and from that experience I learned everyday to care for a dog that needed extra care. Special needs vary from dog to dog, but it is so important that we provide them with their needs if we want them at their happiest. When a dog is happiest it can enjoy it's life and their performance at 100 percent! I am reliable and punctual because it is so important to animals. It is how they communicate with us! I have 15 chickens, 20 fish outside and 5 fish inside. I use to have a snake but he went to a home with more snakes so he had more opportunity to socialize. I have thick skin with a soft interior, I love animals and strive to love everything openly and unconditionally. I live fed my snake too so live feeding is not a problem for me. Let me have the opportunity to give your loving pet the care and nourishment he or she deserves! When I am not taking care of animals I am exercising my body and mind by walking/running! I will walk and talk to your dogs whenever necessary. If you have other animals I can take care of them too, chickens can go for walks too! lol! Dogs are domesticated wolves and they love to run around! Walks are a must. I just love walking dogs. We will stop and smell the roses, just really enjoy the walk. Dogs are pack animals and should continue to feel the love and unity with me when their pack leader is away (that is you!). When walking your dog(s) I carry my own water bowls, natural spring water, and I clean up after them. I would love to come to your house and hang out with them. Sometimes there is an extended time you will be away and I would be happy to keep them happy and comfy at home. I am available for overnight stay on Fridays and Saturdays. I am very eager to exercise your animals and care for them so I am available 7 days a week for these services. Through daily exercise and the TLC they deserve we can stretch out a dog's rapid aging life span! Older dogs, even geriatrics are not a determent for me. I had an older dog myself (RIP Jasmine I love you) and they require a little more attention that I am more than happy to provide. They wont be punished or made to feel shame if they have accidents. It is just part of getting older. I will clean up after them as needed, give them the proper medication, and make sure their sleep/temperature needs are met. Bigger dogs, even aggressive breeds are not a determent either. I had a Pitbull and she was the biggest sweetheart. Judging animals as a whole is not fair to them and I would still be happy to care for your dog whether its a Pug or a Rotweiler. I just love animals! Exotics like Bearded Dragons, Sugar Gliders, Chinchillas, Spiders, etc! There is nothing that I will not care for! I carry this experience and enthusiasm with me when caring for dog. So any kind of dog, any age/temperment/requirements. Let me help you :)
