Pet care experience
I had an amazing dog growing up, which I cared for for 16 years. Currently, I dog sit regularly for friends and family when they go on vacations or work trips. I am a huge dog lover and would provide a comfortable and loving environment for any dog I would be watching. I like to be outdoors/take walks so dependent on the type of dog, I could keep them active, or if they are a indoor/senior dog, I'm happy just sitting home and relaxing with them.

We have a pretty specious one bedroom apartment. The living area is spacious enough to play fetch, etc. and a big couch for them to lounge on. Depending on the dog’s sleep preference, we can set them up to sleep in the living area or in the bedroom if that’s what they are used to. We also always put a designated area in the living area for eating and drinking. Astoria park is just a short walk away so when weather permits, we take the dogs there to play/hang out.

A typical day
I like to take the dogs to Astoria Park. There are also certain tree lined streets I like to take them down when going for walks. For activities, fetch is always a popular one and any other type of activities that they like (squeaky toys, bully sticks, etc.).

I currently work remote three days a week and go into my office two days a week. Same for my fiancé. So we offset those days anytime we dogsit to ensure someone is always home to care the dog.
