I am a wildlife biologist by profession, so I understand animals. I grew up with two Golden Retrievers, a German Shepard, and a Border Collie as well as horses, chickens, rabbits, cows, a goat and a turkey. I am currently the “person” of a seven-year-old terrier who is very high maintenance and my best friend. I am a self taught dog trainer and have trained three dogs including my own using gentle techniques. I l love getting my furry friends out for walks taking them to the beach, the park, up in the hills on hikes. I understand not all dogs warm up to strangers right away, and so it is important to go slow and earn their trust. I have patience, and eye for detail, a cautious nature, and a gentle yet assertive demeanor. I would love to meet your best buddy and help make sure s/he gets the love and attention s/he needs!
