Fill my Schedule with Dogs!
Pet care experience
Hello, hello! My name is London. I'm an 19-year-old student at Unity College and front desk associate at The Courtyard by Marriott. I'm seeking a degree in Animal Health and Behavior! My schedule varies day-by-day; most days I work from 7am-3pm, and some days I will be working 3pm-11pm. I have two yorkie-poodle mixes, six rats, and two rescue cats at home, and I am the go-to family dogsitter for my family and friends. I am open to taking care of pets of any age, breed, temperament, and needs! I'm available for your pet rain or shine for attention, playtime, walking, and love! Contact me any time! :) **In order to keep my rates low for you all, I ask that you please do NOT play through Rover, as they take a high percentage of my income!**
Reviews
There is no doubt London loves animals, and it was clear she showed that love to our puppy, dog, and cat. The animals seem happy, and she started teaching our puppy to commands (e.g., sit). The animals excitedly ran up to greet her when she came to drop off the key to our home after our return. We came home to a mostly clean and organized house (with a couple of notable exceptions). She was responsive when we reached out to her. The job we hired to her to do (i.e., a two-week-long house/pet sitting gig) involved a lot of work and attention, especially given we have a puppy. Although we have a good-sized, indoor kennel area for the puppy, she did not appear to watch the puppy as closely as we asked her to when she had the puppy outside of the kennel. For example, we found a collection of puppy-sized droppings in an upstairs room and discovered the puppy had gotten into the cat's litter box, which contains pellets that are dangerous to a dog's health if ingested. She only disclosed the issue with the litter box after I told her we discovered pellets on our living room floor. We discovered additional issues by periodically checking our outdoor security system during our time away. We contacted her about these issues, and she immediately responded with an apology, which we appreciated. However, she did not initiate contact with us (e.g., updates, pictures, questions) throughout the majority of our trip. Overall, London is a friendly pet-lover, and I would consider hiring her again for a shorter-term job that involved the care of adult pets.
London was great! Always open and quick with communication and sent me pictures and updates often. Will definitely rebook in the future.
Thank you for being available last minute! Such a relief to know Thor was in good hands on these last minute longer work days!!
London has been super helpful with our short notice bookings! I’m not sure what her magic is, but we did come home to 2 very content and tired huskies!

Safety, trust & environment
Before anything else, I want to make sure your pets trust me. I meet them in a safe environment and allow the animal to approach me whenever they feel ready, so that I may build the best relationship possible. Throughout the day, I listen to the animal and follow their lead. If your pet is a couch potato that prefers cuddling over anything else, I will provide a safe space for them to lounge. If they love to run and play, I engage in a variety of physical activities for their enrichment!
Information London S. would like to know about your pet

A typical day
- Available for walking in neighborhoods, parks, and riverwalks! - Engaging games with toys to release some extra energy! - Always equipped with cuddles! - If your pet is more aloof, I will not force it to engage with me. I want to work at YOUR pet's pace! - I can teach tricks!
