Pet care experience
I have enjoyed occasionally boarding pets for friends as well as feeding them in their own homes for many years. The community I live in is very walkable and dog friendly. I am happy to take dogs on many walks. I have owned cats for 40 years or more although I do not have one now. I learned to give medication to one of my cats, not an easy job. I am now semi-retired and would love to enjoy the company of gentle loving animal friends. I am home several full weekdays. I would allow pets on the furniture and in my bed because I truly love petting and being close to cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, etc. I am very reliable, trustworthy and energetic.

Lois took care of our two cats for a week when we were out of town. She was a gracious host to our cats. She not only took care of all their needs but also kept an attentive eye on them to make sure they were ok. Her experience with cats and caring nature helped in keeping our cats at ease in a short period of time. Lois also kept us updated every day on the cats and sent us pictures. We were very happy with our experience with Lois.
This was my first time using a boarding service other than our neighbor so I was nervous about leaving our dog, but Lois took a good care of Teddy. Lois did a meet/greet so that we can see her environment. She listened to us and took Teddy on a number of walks and send pictures so that we can see that he is doing well. She was very prompt about responding to my texts inquiring about Teddy. I really appreciated it and would love to use Lois again.
Lois took great care of our little Boston Terrier. Our pup is 13 and recently had an eye removed by the Vet so we wanted her to be in a comfortable home with someone who would give her a lot of lap time. Lois took great care of her and sent us us updates. Izzy was very well cared for and happy when we picked her up. She actually tried to walk back in Lois’ house when we started to leave and we took that as a great sign that she loved her stay. We would definitely book Lois again.
Lois was so kind to our elderly beagle, Lady Bird! Lady Bird can be anxious, but she was very calm when she came home from staying with Lois. Lois sent pictures and updates so we knew how everything was going. Thank you!
