I have extensive experience caring for pets in a professional capacity. As an executive assistant to numerous high profile individuals, I have much experience providing high quality pet care for my former bosses' dogs/pets. My rescue Pitbull mix just passed away after a long battle with cancer - he was six years old, and I grew up in a house full of dogs (two Chocolate Labs, and one German Shepard), so I am what people would generally a “a dog person” 😊. I have gained much experience and skill working with my rescue dog in particular, as my Pitbull needed very strict training and rules at all times, as well as lots of love. I have worked with industry-leading trainers and am very experienced using E-collars. I've also worked with dogs with disabilities - hip dysplasia, blindness, and deafness in particular. Of course, I’m also familiar with dogs who have cancer and the best ways to make their life enjoyable through the pain (like using a huge dog stroller for those extra long walks!). I've even done dog water therapy for my former employers dog. I live in a small apartment building in Astoria with full access to our private, fully fenced / boxed in back yard - dogs are able to freely roam in and out with the security of knowing there is no way for them to escape our grassy knoll!
