This was our first experience with DogVacay, and it was a very positive experience that will keep us returning and recommending to others in the future! We were planning an extended time away from home - too long for our dog-sitter to come to our house and just let Cooper (our mixed-breed rescue female) in and out, and definitely too long for a kennel, so we found DogVacay. We decided on Lizzy and set up a time for Cooper to meet her and her two pets, Sugar and Maya, and the rest of the family. We felt very comfortable right away, and all the dogs seemed to do very well together. Lizzy has a beautiful home in the country with lots of land for the pups to roam and play. Lizzy has experience caring for not only her dogs, but friends' dogs as well, and we feel we made the right decision. We picked Cooper up after our trip, and she was obviously well cared for and had made great friends of Maya and Sugar. We will definitely use them again if the need arises. Communication was great, both before and during the stay! We didn't need/want to touch base with Lizzy every day about how Cooper was doing, but we heard from her several times via the method we had specified. Thank you, Lizzy, Richie and Josie! I have known Lizzy for a while and throughout it all there has always been a pet by her side! She treats all animals with love and care and you can be assured that your pet will be treated nicely and with the utmost respect. Cannot recommend her enough for watching and taking care of your animal family member!
