Pet care experience
For the past four years I have been working on and off (summer and winter break) at a doggie day care with all sizes, breeds, ages and temperaments of dogs. I owned and loved a large, chocolate labradoodle for most of my life, until college when she passed. If I could get another doggie I would, but until then, I'll love your doggie like it is my own! I am dog CPR trained and comfortable with almost all dogs. I will provide one-on-one attention and playtime for the entirety of your canine family member’s stay with me. I strive to ensure any pet that comes to me leaves happy, stress free and tired so that they are always excited to return. Your pet will be treated like they are my own- loved and cherished while I get to sit them- and attended to based on all of their needs and your personal routines/desires.

Lizzy helped us out when we were in a bind last week, and she provided daycare three days in a row for our 15-week-old puppy. Maya is naturally high in anxiety and doesn't take well to strangers, but she warmed up to Lizzy instantly and seemed to come home in high spirits every night. We will absolutely be using Lizzy for all of our puppy-related needs (doggy daycare, boarding for weekend trips, etc.) - she has been so accommodating, communicative, and flexible with scheduling, and we're so glad we met her through Rover!
Lizzy was great with Zeke. She sent pictures to let us know how things were going (which helped ease OUR separation anxiety) and Zeke came home tired and happy - couldn't ask for more! I would definitely have Lizzy watch Zeke again.

We left Our Dog for 10 days and we couldn't be happier! he usually gets very stressed when abroad, but this time he had a great time. Also, the pickup/drop was very effective and convenient. 100% we will repeat!

I would love to know a few things about your dog before meeting them! First and foremost, is your dog potty trained? Does your dog take any medication or have any illnesses I should be aware of? Does your dog get along with other dogs? Does your dog pull on walks? Are you okay with me using my own collars on dogs during walks? Anything else you want me to know. I am looking forward to getting to know your canine member of the family!
A typical day
There are several parks around my house and lots of people! I will have treats (unless there is a specified allergy) and toys and dog beds. I will take dogs on walks and to the local dog park (upon owners approval; weather permitting) and throw the ball, as well as manage dog playing. I feel comfortable knowing when dog play escalates into fights, and being able to control and stop those. This is primarily what I was responsible for at my former dog day care job. I love dogs and will keep yours safe and happy.
