I have a degree in Zoology and have cared for animals of all shapes and sizes, from puppies and ponies to leopards and lemurs. I also have experience as a vet tech and administering various medications such as insulin, oral medications and ear application pens. I started working as an animal trainer in the 90’s when my family adopted a dog that I took to training classes every week. I then trained all the puppies she had, and continued to train every cat, dog and bird that came into our home after that. After 4 years of college and many more years working with exotic animals, in the emergency department of a busy veterinary clinic and assisting various wildlife research studies around Florida.
