Pet care experience
Hi fellow pet owners! I’m a 20 year old college student looking to help you out and spend some time with your fur babies! I’m a pet owner myself, I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have 3 dogs, 4 cats and 2 leopard geckos at home. I’m a responsible and experienced pet owner and animal lover. I’ve pet-sat for many people over the years and look forward to doing it now on Rover. :)

Lizzie has been a blessing to my family for a few years now. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. She has been able to housesit, walk my dogs, and play with them. Lizzie is a mature, responsible, and nurturing pet caregiver. She goes above and beyond just the basics of the job. She truly has a love for animals and not only takes care of their needs, but really takes time to play and interact with them just as I would. When meeting new dogs, if they are shy or apprehensive I give them time to adjust to me. Once they’re comfortable I’m more than happy to shower them with affection! I love animals and animal love me. Their safety is my top priority and I make sure they have access to food & water, are brought outside enough, and cannot get into anything that could harm them (chocolate, grapes, etc.) When walking dogs, I make sure to have a tight grip on the leash and stay far from other dogs nearby to avoid any incidents.

Important information to notify me of is if the dog can have aggressive tendencies (I will likely deny service for my own safety), if the dog has any special needs or medications, if they get along well with other dogs/cats and if they have any other specific need (need to be fed at a certain time, or any foods to avoid)
A typical day
I love playing fetch or other toys with dogs, taking them on walks, giving them pets and plenty of attention, and (if they have any) practice some tricks with them! And of course give them treats as permitted. If the dog has anything in particular they enjoy, just let me know and I can accommodate!

I’m a full time college student but I’ll have some times during the day where I’m free and weekends I’m typically available at any time. During the Summer (May-August I’m home for summer break and have more days available!)
